I've used gas pressure washers for many years to clean our large deck, gazebo, deck furniture, foundation walls, siding, etc., and was hesitant to try an electric washer based upon my experiences with them many years ago. Boy, have things changed! Took a chance on the Sun Joe and it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to set up, easy to use, MUCH lower noise level than gas, and does virtually the same job as the 3000+ psi gas units I've used over the years. It does take a little longer than the more powerful units but, in the end, the same job gets done and you don't feel like you've been through 12 rounds in a cage match. The hose connection is a definite weak point (fails for some users, works fine for others). I was one of the unlucky ones with a leak at that connection. Sun Joe's professional customer service promptly, and courteously, sent me a metal fitting. Problem solved. Comes with a 2 year warranty where most others are only 1 year. The high pressure hose from the unit to the spray wand is relatively flexible and easy to maneuver (as opposed to the stiff, heavy-duty ones with which I used to wrestle on the gas washers). The GFCI on the end of the power cord is a little bulky, but not so much as to warrant taking off a rating star. The Sun Joe is easy enough for my wife to maneuver, set-up and use. I highly recommend this for the average user. There are certainly users that will need the power that a gas unit provides, but the average homeowner will be more than covered by the power this Sun Joe delivers. Well made product, power enough to do average homeowner jobs, easy to maneuver, easy to set up, relatively quiet (compared to gas), 2 year warranty, courteous and professional customer service... what's not to like!
I bought this Mower because I have a HUGE Hill that goes down to the Lake. The Riding was obviously was not going to work and neither was the Gas Push one ( to heavy not to mention Dangerous) This suited my needs , I needed something " Light weight and easy to handle ) This Mower was both. NOW I knew when I bought it that it WAS NOT going to be " Top of the LINE! " PLEASE for under $***? but it Cuts my grass and what it can't the "weed Trimmer" will. If people want a Push Mower that works like the ones from " Days Gone By " either start hitting Garage Sales or Shell out a few $$$$ but quit you GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!
I recently moved into a house with a small front and backyard, so I wanted to be environmentally friendly with my lawn mower purchase. I chose this one and it is perfect for what I have. Takes me about 30 mins to mow(front and back) and rake up the grass altogether. Like most reviews have stated, If you're grass is long, this mower is gonna be tough to push the first time. It was for me. Took about double the amount of time and 4x the effort the first mow, but since then it has been smooth sailing. I mow the lawn once a week to keep it easy. If you don't plan on being on top of your yard, then don't buy this mower.
Was used to trim the remnants of a large cedar tree from which the top fell. Also used to trim fruit trees, lilac bush, contoneaster, and camelia. Easy to handle and easy to use.
