I got this as a Christmas present for my husband. I was looking for a file cabinet to match my decor and this fit the bill. It is made out of real wood and is very heavy. A very sturdy piece of furniture that should last for a lifetime. The only downside is there was not insert for hanging file folders. I was expecting that based on reviews and was a very easy fix to rig up. Definitely worth the extra 5 minutes of work for a beautiful piece of furniture that you did not have to put together.

Pretty wood but drawers open with difficulty (stick). Unit was damaged during shipping, so one of the corners is dented. It was too heavy and bulky to deal with returning it, or I would have done that.

It's a beautiful piece of furniture, but unfortunately, although it's supposed to be a rustic piece, it arrived with a dent in the front edge which undoubtedly was caused by mishandling or a drop. The box appeared to have been opened and repacked. The shippers didn't even bring it into my house, never ringing a doorbell when there were three people at home to answer, leaving us to discover it on my driveway. I am an older man with a very bad back and moving an 84 pound bulky piece of furniture is impossible for me and I had to call for help from my daughter's boyfriend to get it in the house. The drawers did not include rails from which to hang files and the drawer slides are wood and not metal, which means opening and closing will become difficult if not impossible after not too much time from simple daily wear. It has the look of nice furniture but beyond that I'm very disappointed, especially in the delivery. If I could, I would probably return it mostly because of the dent which is right on the front edge and the lack of rails to hold files. But I have no illusions that anyone at Overstock will read this or respond in any way, since this seems to be the only recourse available. I probably won't be purchasing anything from Overstock again.
