They are a bit pricey, but until you pick one up you'd think they are fine glass. The lip is not too sharp and they are light. I haven't tried but I assume they don't break easily.
These. Are. Beautiful. The crystal is elegantly cut, the colors are clean and clear and whimsical, and the goblets have a nice weight and balance. The Overstock description says they're dishwasher-safe, but I just got them today and haven't tested that. Umm, not sure I will test that, but I gotta say these glasses actually do seem fairly sturdy. I will not fret over the bumps and knocks that glassware inevitably takes. I've been budget-limited all my life and have never paid anywhere near this much for glassware that's not a gift, which is the only reason I rated the overall value as good instead of excellent. But like I said, I just got them; it's entirely possible that I might want to upgrade that rating later on. Word of caution to impulse buyers: Check the dimensions, because they are dead-on. These goblets are not especially tall, as goblets go, and the bowl is smallish. I did check, and they are exactly what I wanted, but I can see how someone who doesn't read the fine print might expect bigger glasses.
I have seen this style become popular in the last year or two and the quality of these glasses is as good as any. I use them as my everyday pieces for juice, water...etc. They are very stable, durable and nice to look at. Also the capacity of the larger glass is great! I am very pleased with this purchase and I'm picking up my third set today! I can't really make a price comparison, but it seems very reasonable to pay $30+ for a set of nice glasses.
