  • 6 tray dehydratio

On the positive side, it is quiet & performs perfectly, on the down side, the trays center are x's and pieces crack after repeated use, not the tray surround, but where the food is placed. I will at some point have to see if I can order replacement trays. Clean up at the bottom takes time if you have drippings.

Got this for my husband and he uses it every weekend. I'm almost getting tired of seeing it sit out!

I have tried drying fruits, vegetables, and herbs. It does a great and consistent job of drying whatever I have put in it. It cleans easily, is very quiet and I am pleased with its overall performance. It has made harvesting the last of my garden enjoyable. .

So far I've used it to dehydrate slices of yams for treats for my dogs. I plan to try apples next week. I haven't been able to find screens for the vegikiln for herbs and other smaller items that are apt to fall through the holes in the trays. I like having the fan in the back which seems to dry everything evenly. It is easy to check to see how the drying process is progressing by simply pulling out a tray.
