My house was built in the late 60's so I wanted something vintage looking that would fit in with that era, but also look a bit current. I loved this rug in the pictures and, despite my hesitance, bought 2 for my kitchen. I was worried about a few things: the light colored background might show dirt too easily, the blue & green might not look as great in-person as they do in the pictures (ie, the rug wouldn't look vintage if the avocado green that was so popular in that era turned out to be a bright or lime green), or that it might feel rough if walked on with bare feet since the rug is indoor/outdoor with basically a flat pile. I got the rugs a couple weeks ago. The colors are exactly as shown - which can be rare when ordering online. The background color is more of an off-white/cream color (not white as I'd feared). They actually feel quite nice walking on barefooted, not rough at all. I did have to clean them already after only a couple weeks, but to be fair - they are in the kitchen. BUT - and this may be the best part - cleaning them was quick, ridiculously easy, and free. Because they're indoor/outdoor rugs, it took about a 1 minute to clean them both. You simply take the rug outside and spray it down with the water hose (with a good sprayer, of course), and hang them up/over something to dry. I'll take that any day over having to drag them to the cleaners. I'd always thought of indoor/outdoor carpet/rugs as either cheap, utility-type options for high-traffic areas (office buildings, garage, etc.) or the back porch. But I've been converted and wouldn't hesitate to put this rug in any room in my house. So overall, I'm giving the rug a 5 across the board in all the categories that mattered the most to me: quality/craftsmanship, design/color, maintenance/cleaning requirements, and durability. Glad I gave this rug a shot.
This rug is exactly as pictured! The contemporary pattern and bright blue & green colors added a perfect touch to my Cape Cod rental. Since it is an indoor/outdoor rug spills should not be an issue. It is a thinner rug like a commercial one and a pad is recommended. We got the pad and rug from overstock. We did not get the super thin pad they show with the rug but a thicker one since we knew the rug was on the thinner side. No loops to catch on dog or cat paws and no nap to have to keep up with vacuuming.
Love this outdoor rug!! Really pretty rug!! Love the colors of this rug and the Quality was also great!! Definitely recommend this outdoor rug!!
This rug was marked outdoor and indoor but it was NOT MADE FOR OUTDOORS!! It turned into a big SPONGE!!!!
Great quality outdoor rug. Very pleased with the purchase and pricing.
This was the perfect rug for my back screened in porch. All of the colors are true to the photos. It was perfectly square with no defect. I like that it is not thick but yet built with quality.
Love this rug. Looks great in my living room at the beach. Matches a Waverly fabric perfectly. Best of all, I can drag it outside on the deck, hose it down, let it dry, and place it back in my house without making an appointment to have it cleaned. Really does remind you of sea glass from the beach.
This rug is vibrant and colors are as pictured. The weave is tight which prevents pulls and is very durable for outdoor use. I love it so much I am currently shopping in the Sun 'n Shade group for a coordinating rug for another patio area!
This carpet completely livened up my outdoor patio area. It has proven to be very durable and easy to clean in an outdoor setting. The coloring is enough for the areas but not enough to overpower the area.
I was nervous on this rug as I had never purchased an indoor/outdoor rug. My motivation to purchase was that we adopted 2 young pit bulls and had suffered a few accidents on my beautiful wool rug and newly refinished hardwoods in our living/family room. What a great buy!!! This totally fits the "Mad Men" vibe of our 1960's ranch and the colors are spot on! We have received many compliments from visitors. We made sure to buy a nice thick felt pad to give it cushioning as the rug itself is a thin, tight, berber-type weave. The dogs play pretty rough, with their nails dragging through it, and not one fiber/yarn pull (and no accidents since I bought a new rug--figures!). The only negative is that the manufacturer rolls it with the good-side in. I had to get book stacks and boxes to lay on the curl end of the rug to get it lay flat for about 5 days, but it is flat after that. I purchased another Waverly indoor/outdoor rug for my guest room due to this great experience and "Cool" factor of the designed print.
Rug looked nice for the first month until it rained. This rug holds water (takes 3 days or so to dry after a rainshower on a wooden deck) so the algae, mold and mildew became a real problem. Even with cleaning and powerwashing, after 6 months the rug is very ugly, stained and faded. Very disappointing for an outdoor rug.
I purchased this rug primarily for the colors, modern style, and the size. I wasn't sure what to expect from the "indoor/outdoor" part of the description, but took a gamble. What a great decision! This rug is low-pile, and thinner than some other indoor rugs. It's not overly soft, but not so coarse that you don't enjoy walking on it. We have this in our living room, so it gets a lot of feet running over it. The material and the pile make this thing REALLY easy to vacuum. Every little speck gets sucked right up! The colors are very true to the photos online, and it feels very durable. This is my second rug purchase from Overstock and I'm really happy with both!
Cute pattern, but I would not recommend for high traffic areas. I thought an indoor/outdoor rug would be less maintenance, but this rug stains so easily!
This rug looks fantastic in my bedroom. The colors are great and it is just fun. It gives my room a nice pop. The only problem is that tehw hite background shows everything. It does vaccuum up nicely, but I feel like I have to run the vaccuum every other day! I've had the rug for over a year and it has not stained, faded, or shown any excessive wear. Good product.
This rug has so much color and movement! I don't think it makes a good indoor rug based on the feel of it but it was perfect for outdoor spaces.
Perfect for the area I bought it for. Looks just as in the picture. I would not use it indoors because the texture is not smooth, but looks great in the patio. It has not been exposed to much rain yet.
Head this rug for 1.5 years in an outdoor covered screened patio. The white part always looked dirty, even though we vacuumed often and even shampooed the carpet. It was trash after 1.5 years with the ends started to unravel and it was just too dirty to come out clean with a shampoo. Wish it had lasted longer! It had beautiful colors and design. May work better in a low-traffic area indoors.
I have had this rug for 5 years now. It’s just now starting to show some wear and tear from being outside all year in the Florida elements. It cleans up super nice with a hose or light power washing. At this price and having it outdoors 24/7, I would purchase again.

Purchased this rug to use in my family room for summer! It is indoor outdoor and cleans up quickly! Adds a pop of summer color to the decore Love it!
This rug contains all the coastal colors I have used in my beach home. Very easy to keep clean. Nice product for the cost. I get lots of compliments on this rug and have recommended it to friends.
