I was hesitant at first, but finally decided to order this compact dryer. I rent, and there are no washers or dryers in the building. I have a portable washer and this dryer has been my best purchase. It works great, it does take more time to dry than a regular size dryer, but it's not a problem for me. It beats having to go to the laundromat. I've had it over 4 months and I use it 4 - 5 times a week. My electric bill has only increased by $8. I highly recommend it! It's not noisy, and works great!
This little is a little mighty max. Don't expect to wash huge loads, and remember, it IS a small washer, meant for apartments, RV's, etc. But it does wash about 4 or 5 large bath sheets at a time. I wash my queen sheets one sheet at a time, and since I have a lot of pillows, I split the pillow cases up between the loads. It's not the washer that won't hold them, but you need to move the clothes over to the spin dry, and that is considerably smaller. Do no overload that. However, that spins dry better than any full size washer I've ever had experience with. And washer cleans fantastically. There's a gentle and normal cycle. Additionally, it has an automatic drain. Turn the dial, and it sucks all the water out of the drum. Having had a bad experience with one portable experience with a portable machine prior, I was very cautious this time, and read and researched this machine very carefully. It can be fully automatic, or partially automatic. I have an 800 sq. ft. apartment, and fits in beautifully. My son, who has a full size machine at his home, comes over to wash his ties for work, because it's gentle, and doesn't tear them up. Even the spin cycle gets all the excess water out. They are so dry at that point, my daughter hits them with a quick iron, and they've got a good crease, they're exceptionally cleaner than he's been able to do by hand, in fact, they look almost new. I can't say enough good things about this.
