We bought this to put at the foot of our bed. It was mainly purchased for a extra step for our dog to get on the bed since the bed was too high for her to jump onto. Also used for storage of extra blankets and sheets. It looked nice in our bedroom and and also provided a seat when needed. We were happy with our purchase.
Overall a nice little bench. First one arrived with the top in two pieces but Overstock quickly sent a return label and shipped another. Top doesn't look super solid, but it won't have hard use where I put it. Great little bench with storage for my dogs toys, leashes and treats.
We use this bench for about five years. Good value for money. Storage was deep and adequate. Eventually, the surface started peeling but lasted longer than expected.
