I purchased this to use as a backdrop for product photos that I often use for my blog. Works great and looks real enough. Adhesive back is a big plus, too. I only peeled corners of the film and placed on the table for easy removal. I see this could be great for a quick countertop remodeling, too. Highly recommended.
Thrilled with how beautiful this wall looks in our powder room. It is self pasted, but we used wallpaper paste anyway and it went up well. The edges are a bit tricky due to the "grass", but extra paste held it down. Everyone who has seen it thinks it's gorgeous.
I installed these in my business. The only downside is you have to be patient with the adhesive you use. These are made of plant fiber and not synthetic materials so they absorb most adhesives. Foam and caulk adhesives take a some time to dry in place. I preferred the contact cement, but it still takes about 20 to 30 minutes to become tacky and settle into place. Overall they are great. Watch you tube videos for installation. They are very helpful.
I've got 6 rolls for 275 sq. feet area. We have done recent remodeling converting one part of 3-car garage into the office. Wall Paper has been put on plywood with one coat of primer – the surface was smooth enough but still not smooth as a painted wall. The adhesive of this wallpaper works really good on such surface, strong enough. The disadvantage of the adhesive wallpaper vs pre-paste wallpaper – it should be put/ stick precisely on the first try. The wallpaper has a very nice pattern, great for office, makes small room looks bigger and elegant. The only imperfection discovered ( and a big! one ) is that every roll at the end of roll had a defect – a visible line of smashed pattern. Since we put it in very private room, we didn’t bother with this imperfection. But if you are planning to put it in the public place – hall, family room – it is something to consider ( that is why only 3 stars).
