We needed a book shelf for our bedroom and this was it! His books on one side, mine in the other. Recommendations for one another in the middle!
This is a nice piece of furniture, the quality is good fir the price. It's sturdy and looks great in my living room. It took two of us to assemble. The 9 cubes makes it easy to display lots of framed photos and collectibles.
I needed pure white in real wood. This bookcase is perfect for those reasons. I gave it only 3 stars because the wood was damaged on the frame and "doctored." I only noticed weeks later after the stain bled through. (I now have a 2" watermark on the front of my bookcase.)
As others have said, the large sticker in a predominant spot is quite unattractive. I understand they are trying to prevent lawsuits, but there must be another way. My husband was able to remove it with a magic eraser and a lot of patience. As for those who said it is difficult to put together, I did it almost completely by myself. I am not a very fix-it kind of woman, but I got everything except the top shelf on by myself. The shelf looks nice and gives my "stacker" husband much surface space on which to store his papers, books, etc. It is not primarily gray - more of a brown with some grayish streaks through it.
We brought this to use as a TV stand and it worked out great for that. Took away one star because the openings aren't standard size. I had leather cubicle bins from a previous bookcase that I wanted to use with this one, but they did not fit.

Great quality with extra tools and fasteners! Very clear instructions with pictures, labeled parts and pieces. Looks great! Would definitely buy again!
Beautiful and sturdy bookcase. Even though I knew the measurements, it was too big for where I wanted to place it so I put it in the hallway. I had someone put it together and it did take them a bit over an hour. I also want to address what was mentioned in another review. Why would you put a sticker inside in a visible area? Now I have to figure out how to remove without damaging the bookcase.
