At first I wasn't sure about the 'faux' leather and was planning to get real leather. But I liked the style of these chairs and decided to take the chance. They were very well packaged, easy enough to put together and look terrific. It's hard to tell they're not real leather. They are high quality - much nicer than what I've seen at the local retailers. And the price can't be beat. Shipping was super-fast! I never thought to look on overstock.com, but now I'm hooked. Free shipping - hooray!

I read the previous reviews first as the word "faux" put me off at first. There is nothing "faux" about these chairs! They are really remarkable for the price. I first received a broken part and a damaged part in my first order and Overstock immediately mailed me a replacement. They are easy to assemble and look GREAT and are sooooo comfortable. Recommend to everyone who wants affordable, serviceable and good looking for their home. Thanks again Overstock! Love you and your products

very disappointed
When we received the bar stool chairs, we were very excited but upon opening the box, we quickly became very dissatisfied. I will be VERY hesitant in the future to order ANYTHING that is breakable. The Wood portion of each stool was broken in at least one place on each stool. Luckily, my husband is knowledgeable in woodworking and knew how to fix the broken chairs. This should not happen to any customer. We kept the chairs for two reasons: my husband knew how to repair the chairs and because we wanted to avoid a hassle. No customer upon purchasing brand new merchandise should be sent BROKEN items.

They look nice, but quality isn't great. The seat is a little too firm and I'm still waiting for dent to come out of back rest, from the way it was packed.

The brown is the "dark brown" color; it's very close to an espresso color. With a 4 yr. old in my house, the color works great and the faux leather has held up VERY well. I am very happy with the stools.
