I have always wanted one of these but the price was always too nuch. Got this one for a great deal and glad i did. I do have tile floor in my entire house and only carpet i have are my area rugs and this vaccume does have trouble going from my to carpet. It gets stucks if it goes into carpet. But great in my tile floors. It is also noisey so i just put it on when im home for 20 min to pick up alittle. Overall its super cool tho and i do love it.
I received my Bissell CrossWave and it took me ten minutes to unbox, assemble and start cleaning. It is lightweight yet powerful. It's a simple, yet highly effective hard floor cleaner. I do not have carpet or rugs so, I can not comment on that aspect of the machine. It seems sturdy, yet is compact and light, and it comes with its own plastic tray to sit in with an attachment where the roller can also air out to dry. The cord is very long so it cuts down the time of having to switch outlets. I did find it a bit on the pricey side however, now that I have used the machine, I'll glady pay the extra money so I can cut my cleaning time in half. This is easily one of the best floor cleaning products I have purchased in the past 20 years. I really like that the buttons on the handle light up, and when you are triggering the solution, the main floor unit also lights up which is nice touch. I love that you can order replacement rollers too. Another great benefit is that you do not have to sweep your floors beforehand! No more double cleaning. It both sweeps and scrubs/cleans. I admit I was skeptical and very hesitant to buy this floor cleaner. I tried steam machines, the good old manual method, different types of floor cleaners and, in the end, they took too much time and effort and they were expensive with very little return on investment. I am so happy that I decided to give this machine a shot. It was more than worth it.
I love this vacuum for quick cleaning my hard wood floors, tile flooring and my bedrooms with carpet. It last long enough for me to use for the entire bottom floor before a charge is needed. Also, very easy to clean. Love not having to drag out the 20 pound vacuum.
This model was purchased as an upstairs partner for the Dyson cordless DC59 that I have used for several years. The V6 is an affordable backup, and much handier than toting up and down stairs. Among the considerations for a senior citizen, it's lightweight and safer because there are no cords to tangle up with feet. The charge is about 20 minutes, which about right for the amount of vacuuming I prefer to do at any one time. No problem emptying the container, except maybe for the slight shock at finding out how much dust has been lying around waiting to be picked up (yikes!). Very easy to empty the see-through container; no bags to bother with, either. There's a brief intro experience, i.e., getting used to a blast of air and noise, but those are minor annoyances, considering to the work-horse ability of this little device.
