Unique Loom Salle Garnier Sofia Rug

Purchased this rug to replace an old Safavieh rug we had. I was a little worried given the review but for the price, I decided to just give it a try. This rug exceeded my expectations and is on par with the quality of my Nuloom rugs at a fraction of the price . I've had multiple Savavieh rugs and never really was all that impressed with them. As for the creases, the rug I received laid flat in almost 2 hours and I put heavy books on two corners which flattened out over night. I do have a thick carpet pad under the rug which grips the underside of the rug which probably helped getting it to lie flat in such a short period of time. As for colors, mine is mostly grey toned with hints of charcoal. It's a beautiful rug and if I ever replace any of my other rugs, I will definitely try out Unique Loom again.

We purchased the 9x12 size. One of the sides is not straight. I like the pattern and the colors are true to the description and images online (to my monitor at least). Depending on where you are standing it is VERY white/light colored. The pic is from the 'dark side'. The lighter colors are more of a cool taupe brown and the darker colors are still a cooler brown. Our couch has some red tones in it and it goes just fine. The white is more of a off white to my eyes than a cream. I'm giving this two stars because of the quality and plushness, or lack-there-of. I knew this rug was thin and needed a rug pad. Save your money! The $80 rug pad does absolutely nothing for it. The pile is so sparse that all you feel is the backing under it, even with a nice quality rug pad. I will keep it. For the price point, it's fine and it will get me thru the winter with a new build and dogs, i.e. muddy paws... I would not purchase again. I would put the *** I spent on both items towards a better quality rug. In my opinion this would be okay under a dinning room table. Just keep in mind that it is not soft under your feet. It does seem to vacuum well and it did and does still have a mild 'rubber tire' smell. We've had it about a week and it has laid flat pretty well. As others have said, it does come folded. In conclusion, if you are looking for a cheap, thin, not dense rug that vacuums well, this is your rug. If you want plush, soft and dense, pass on this one!

Excellent rug! So pleased with this purchase. Rug is low pile but is perfect for under furniture and seems to be very nice quality. Love the option for all the colors.

Great area rug Perfect size and coloring

Awesome price on this Salle Garnier area rug! I was slightly worried when the carpet arrived folded in half. I was afraid you'd always be able to see the crease but in no time at all the carpet laid flat and looks great. The color in the photo also matches how it actually looks.

This rug has a very classic pattern, low pile and is perfect for a high traffic area, which is what I wanted. The price was VERY reasonable for size of the rug. The quality is decent and it fits very well in the space.

The colors on this rug are so vibrant and bright. The loomed pile feels nice under the feet. I have a similar rug by another manufacturer that I ordered from Overstock and like a lot. This one is just as colorful and well made as my other rug. A great buy!

The color and texture of the rug. This is a very nice viscose-like rug. If used in a high traffic area I recommended using a thick pad. Highly recommended.

The quality of this rug is much better than I expected! Everyone who has seen it has complimented me on how expensive it looks. The delivery company refolded it because of its size.

Good rug for the price, however, if you want it for the exact color just know that in person it is much darker. The 'Brown' areas are darker than in the picture. It also has a terrible chemical smell.. if it doesn't go away I will definitely have to return.

This rug is gorgeous in person and is exactly what I was looking for! It isnt plush, thick or soft but the look is quite striking. Very happy with this purchase.

Omg!! Perfect for what I’m doing with my living room.. gonna stop buying from other well known stores and stick with overstock.. Great for the price!!! I would recommend this Rug.

My only complaint would be that they had to fold it over to ship and it took a few days for the fold lines to disappear. It turns out it had a Mohawk label. It didn't say anywhere on the description that is was Mohawk carpeting. :o) Works beautifully in an older home. Goes with the distressed look very well. Color was true to the pictures on the website.

This rug is exactly as they portray it. It has beautiful shades of gray from light to dark with pops of white That really sets it off. It is slightly more class than an average oriental rug, very easy to vacuum. I have a dog that sheds a lot and it is very easy to take care of. They say it is pet friendly and it is. I bought two 9 x 12 rugs, one for my dining room and one for my living room as they are beside each other here. This picture portrays the color beautiful. Thank you overstock, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. And what a great price!

Though the size and how this rug lays is perfect, the color is nice but varies significantly throughout the rug. This was purchased to go beside the same color and print rug in a 5x8 and the colors are vastly different.

It arrived very quickly. Extremely soft. I got the turquoise and it is a bit darker than the photo but it is lovely. Goes great with my coastal decor. I love it!

Fits great and matches well

This rug is very soft and is a beautiful color. However, I have been using it as a dining room rug. Pushing the chairs in and out has caused the edges of the rug to start to curl up. I have tried everything to get them to lay flat, but they just keep curling up.

Nice thick rug but the color for me was blah. Shades of gray and too thick for my dining room. Returning.

it met our needs... its not elegent, but it would fit a rustic home well. its sturdy which made it a good buy... its easy to clean but not thick.... its not my style... but it was a great price and we will make it work, well
