This is by far the easiest way to tackle paint jobs you would normally use the manual roller. To start it is extremely easy to set up. The back guard helps against splatter particularly when doing ceiling work. The controls are either used for manual or power which is battery operated to extract paint from your paint can. A couple things you need to be aware of when setting up. Ensure to have petroleum jelly to grease up the areas suggested in the instruction pamphlet for easy movement and secondly start with a bucket of water to release the air through the tube. I used a small bucket that was equivalent to a gallon bucket of paint. Place the black top with extraction tube to ensure I could get liquid to fill the tube. I tried it twice and it worked. Also you may want to use a cup of water with you paint to thin it out. Other than that a great tool to have. Easy to clean. No worries about washing and cleaning paint pans.
I was skeptical about buying a soaker hose because I had read other reviews of similar products and there was one major complaint that kept creeping up: the hose waters unevenly because it takes too long for the water to get to the far end. Well. I bought this shorter 25' hose to try it out. At first I was discouraged because I was having the dreaded experience I read about--the water was sloooow to get to the plants furthest away from the water faucet. HOWEVER, have some patience and you won't be disappointed. I just left it alone for a couple of hours. I don't know exactly when the water reached the end but it had, and all looked well. I kept the soaker hose in place and still connected to the faucet. Now, EVERY time I turn the hose on, there is NO WAIT for water reaching the end. My flowers are happier with deep soaks off their leaves and petals and I'm happier because it has cut down on my manual watering chores. I'm buying another!
this is an amazing wheel mower-we got the 20 inch for our larger yard and got my mom the 18 inch for her smaller yard. It works great -sharp bladed nice heavy weight at the base and easy to push-it's great exercise and bc I have carpal syndrome and cannot use power tools because of the negative effects of the vibrations, this provides a great workout as well.
We have a small yard and no garage, so we wanted a mower that could be stored inside the house without being messy or smelly. This perfectly fits the bill. If you have a large yard, you may find the narrow width and lack of motor frustrating, but for a small space it's fine- just a bit of a workout. Personally, I think the little bit of extra time and effort involved in mowing with a manual mower is more than made up for by the time, money, and frustration saved by not having to buy gas, keep it charged, watch out for cords, deal with motor problems, or breath fumes. Like most mowers of this style, it won't hit very tall weeds, so you either need to stay on top of lawn care or invest in a weed trimmer as well. Minimal assembly, just attach the handle. Seems very sturdy and we expect it to last. Quite pleased with the value.
