I can’t speak to the quality of the toilet because the first two can broken and the third was intact, but the wrong color! My order clearly states “Cotton White”, but “Sedona Beige” was shipped. Over a month and a half later I finally got my money back. I’m still left with 4 boxes of broken toilets that will need to be taken to the dump (for a large fee). Overstock says they will reimburse the dump fee (but my time and gas is another issue). I’m not the only buyer with the color issues on this item. I had to rush to a local plumbing store and overpay so I could have a non-broken, WHITE toilet for my plumber to install. (Keep in mind I originally ordered a month and a half early). I also purchased a Toto Washlet so I had to make sure the new toilet fit with it. All around hassle and frustration. I’m literally left to clean up Overstock’s mess and have no toilet (from them) to show for it! Buyer beware!! There are serious warehouse/shipping issues on this item. (Overall my experiences have been super positive with Overstock). I did not receive compensation for this review.
These toilets look beautiful installed in our home, but the design has one flaw. The location of the nuts to secure down to the floor are inconveniently placed behind the one-piece design, and there is no access point from the side. Our plumber had to install these using a mirror to see the bolts and took them nearly 2 hours per toilet (vs the usual 15-20min per toilet). Aside from that design flaw, the toilets are beautiful! Quiet, powerful flush. Look forward to seeing how these wear over the years.
Looks great. We had two problems with ours though. 1 is that the lid doesn't come as far forward as we would like leaving a bit of a lip visible at the front of the toilet. 2 the bowl is kind of shallow it seems to me. When peeing (I'm a guy) it seems to have quite an issue with splashback. I have to be really careful where I pee in the toilet so it doesn't splash out everywhere. This wasn't a problem with our prior American Standard elongated toilet that had a deeper bowl. Installations a bit tricky cause the small holes on the side to insert a wrech through. Also now that there are plastic caps that cover the holes on the side. Those aren't so visible in photos of the toilet and maybe even photoshopped out of the photos.
