I had been keeping my eye on this tile for a kitchen update. I was going for the black, white, red look. This tile was perfect for the job. Not a single tile was damaged during shipment. The mesh sheets are easy to work with. The tiles are various sizes- squares and rectangles. The color in person is very accurate compared to what you see online. The colors are soft white, black, light gray and dark gray/charcoal. The colors look rich yet don't over power the kitchen. I tried to score and then snap the tiles since they are glass and research said a tile saw was not necessary. Well that didn't go as planned, but I would say it is user error. I had Club O Dollars plus a coupon so for 20 square feet the price was a bargain! I did need only a few extra sheets, but I didn't want to buy another 20 square feet. A big box store has them for sale online as individual sheets, but Overstock.com definitely has a better price. Highly recommend!
This is beautiful tile but takes a lot of time to install and involves a lot of cuts. This was our first time installing this type of tile and we may regress to squares or rectangles again.
we bought this box of tiles to replace some that had been damaged since we redid the kitchen a few years ago. these have a surface that isn't uniformly smooth and feels like real stone; they look great. just be aware that, just like with actual stone, having a not uniformly smooth surface means you may have to work a little harder now and then to get dirt out and it may take an extra push or two to push a chair in if they get caught on a small ridge.
I bought this tile over a year ago along with the matching square tiles and love them both. They came nicely packaged and look beautiful, especially after being installed. I installed the square tiles over my vanity and the rectangle tiles in my shower. The quality is nice too. The tiles are what I would describe as normal thickness (so not super thin or cheap). I used “bright white” grout. I tried antique white grout but it was too yellow. This tile called for pure white grout. And, the grout was sanded. I do think these are a little hard to cut but totally worth it. Everything was professional installed. I put in a super dark floor so I liked that this tile had a couple of “dark” pieces mixed in. If you don’t like the dark pieces you could easily pull them out and replace them. The other tile used in the shower is ceramic, color is Denver Moon. If you want to see pictures, go over to ********** website and search "ming tile" this same tile will pop up under a different name and I have lots of pictures posted.
