Easy to assemble and adjust
Exactly what I wanted to get more room in the dorm.
I needed something for my classroom to organize my refrigerator and microwave. This shelving is perfect!
I did most of my dorm shopping last year on Overstock and this shelf is one of several items that I am happy to report lasted the year and able to be reused! The picture is of the shelf disassembled after move out. My daughter used it over their fridge and it held the microwave on the middle shelf and snacks and dishes on the top shelf, but at one point they had a small tv on the top shelf- I don't know if I'd recommend that, but the shelf was durable enough to hold it!
This shelf is probably the best idea we had for my daughter's dorm room! It's made well and very sturdy. My daughter and her roommate are able to put it over their mini-fridge and they have their microwave sitting on the bottom shelf. There is an additional shelf over the microwave that they use for their snacks and a few dishes. It's perfect for college dorms!
It was very easy to assemble, but not very sturdy. I would highly recommend anchoring to the wall if this is going to get any action at all. I also would not recommend putting the microwave on the top shelf as a safety issue.
