Rustic look, rock solid construction
The wife and I ordered three of these stools to go around our kitchen peninsula. We have a driftwood type of pattern on our floors in this area that is in the brownish/grayish realm (more brown i suppose, with lighter boards mixed in). Anyway, they go great. These stoles are certainly grayish with streaks of different shades (pretty true to picture). The height is standard counter height (24/25inch). I'm handy, but anyone could assemble these. took me 5 minutes per stood and all tools are included. I was impressed that the legs are perfectly balanced and none of the three were event remotely off center. In addition, they are VERY stable, so if you've got anxious youngsters, they aren't going to tip the things over unless they are pushing waaaaaay out from the counter. Very happy with purchase. They are new so we will see how they hold up, but trust me,...these things are solid!

Bought 2 of these stools to put up against the couch. We have a pool table and people were sitting/leaning on the back of the couch while playing pool. Putting these stools against the couch was an easy way to provide inexpensive sturdy seating and keep people from sitting on the back of the couch.

These seem to be well constructed for the price and they were pretty easy to assemble. My only issue is the color and the misleading description of them being “gray”. They are definitely brown. I hoped they would be more gray but they look fine in my space so I will keep them.

Is the manufacturer able to answer this question? So far I have spoken to four agents at customer service and been told that the stool is: (i) 24.25 inches high; (ii) 26 inches high ("definitely"); (iii) its a range and will be in between the two heights; and (iv) 23 or 29 inches high. So far as I can tell, all of these answers have been gleaned from the website and without recourse to the manufacturer. Of course, this problem only arises because the website is unclear. All we know is all four answers cannot be correct so, at best, I have been lied to three times! Can someone please confirm (by measuring it) HOW HIGH IS THIS STOOL? Thanks

I love these stools by the way. I bought them about a year ago. They are just under 24 1/2 inches tall, just over 17 1/2 inches long and 9 inches wide. I will say the finish on the top has chipped a little but because the stool is made to look old already it’s not very noticeable. My counter height is 35 inches and the stools sit perfectly. I’m sorry I made a mistake about the color of the stool I bought. I believe the photo in the picture above is of the light brown wire brushed saddle stool. That is the one I bought and it looks like the one in the picture. I hope this helps and that I did not confuse you. I had to go back to my order to verify the color.

The depth of the bottom of the stool is 11 3/4 inches. I have the stool in wire brush a saddle brown and love it. Doesn’t appear that that color is available anymore though.
