I love this table, but be warned: it is 36 inches tall, which is typically considered countertop height, not pub height, which is 42 inches. So the 30-inch pub stools that I already own were too tall for this table. I had to order 24-inch stools to go with it instead. It all worked out, and I love the table, which I use as a desk in our sunroom. I can't really imagine using it as a dining table, as it is only 2 feet wide. Despite the misnomers in the title, it is a very solid, rustic, beautiful countertop height pub table.

Decent kitchen table
I was looking for something small, inexpensive, and decent looking...which is what I got. It's certainly not an expensive piece of furniture, but it works. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could. Fairly easy to put together. All the pieces and holes lined up like they should. The color is pretty accurate...kind of an oaky brown with a grey-ish wash. That said, I probably wouldn't have bought it in a store. It's a little more rustic than I was hoping for, and the wood has a rough texture to it. If you're picky or looking for *** quality...this is not the table for you.

I have a long and narrow kitchen. Was not sure what seating options I had until I stumbled upon this gem of a table! It seats 4-5 people when up against a wall but could seat six if not. The height works perfect with any bar stools. It is a perfect grey/white/ charcoal mix color, on the lighter side though! I have had numerous compliments on the table.

Easy to assemble! I did it alone in less than 45 minutes. Just screw in the 4 legs then the 2 end bars followed by the middle bar. Looks great. Nice quality.

Answering my own question after ordering - it's veneer with a cheesy looking stamped texture and faux finish. The table top substrate is MDF and even has a large sticker on the underside indicating that it's MDF. The legs and rails appear to be solid wood with the same veneer.
