We love this shelf. I put it over my bed, so we used additional mounting to secure it.
It's just as described. Sturdy, rustic and industrial. I put it below my TV on the wall as a floating mantel. Just buy it- you won't regret it!
These are very good quality shelves. Sturdy and a nice color. They could be painted another color if you don't like the shade of this one.
They look pretty rich, but they are cheaply made. I wouldn't put anything too heavy on them. The hardware is interesting. A thin metal strip with two rods soldered on. Now understand that those rods are then inserted into two holes that have been bored into the back of a hollow wooden shelf (box). Very light weight. So, there is nothing holding that shelf on to the wall. It basically rests on the rods that have been inserted into it. A shelf more for looks than use. They serve my purpose. I might think twice before buying a second time, I would say no.
Love the these shelves,they are as shown.i have them over my coffee bar with some well placed nick nacks.you think they are heavy by the looks,but they are easy to handle.
Really wanted to love these because they matched our fireplace mantle. The quality is horrible! Especially for the price! We had to return because they don't even secure to the wall properly. If you were to put something on them, they would fall.
This shelf is awful... it is hollow and the material is very cheap. Even taking a sticker off the back of it all the 'finish' peeled off. Furthermore, the mounting rods are significantly smaller than the holes drilled through the back, so it is extremely unstable. Do not buy this. Absolute waste of money.
Love the shelf! It is not only beautiful but very functional too. I put baskets on them and they are in a small room so it takeds the place of a bureau without taking up floorspace.

I do not recommend this shelf. Very unstable and shelf leans so bad can't put anything on the shelf.
