The knives are quality pieces, but the stand makes the set. Friends and family always comment when visiting. The stand seems large on our countertop. I would recommend this product.

This is a fun way to display your knives and a great value for the fact it comes with all 5 knives. Its definitely for the guy or gal who doesn't cook everyday!

This set is not only useful, but a swonderful conversation starter. I liked my orange one so much. I got my sister a blue one, and my brother a red set as well.

  • Fun!

I might have gone overboard by buying ALL orange kitchen ware, but this lovely statement has a hidden gem. The set of knives that come with this, are seamless and looks like the $$$ J. A. Henckels versions. I love them!

  • Cute Conversation Piece

Appearance wise - the knife block set is a very cute conversation piece. Quality wise - the knifes are top notch. The knife block is made of sturdy ABS plastic. In terms of space efficiency, though, the knife block set is a humungous space hog. The knife block set measures 16"H x 16"D x 11"W. (The manufacturer should have provided these measurements in the product description.) I recommend this item to those who do not need to conserve counter space. It takes up too much real estate in my small kitchen. However, I decided to keep it, partly because of the return postage fee.
