This lamp was easy to put together and works well in a small space. However, it is a bit rickety.
Great lamp for the price.
We are happy with this lamp. I read some reviews where people were not happy with the velcro shade, but it is not a problem for us and it looks like a regular shade. I would definitely recommend.
Great quality. I give it a four star only because I feel it could be a little sturdier. If it is bumped, I feel it doesn't take much to knock over. However, if it is in a corner, it is perfect.
Love this lamp. Very cool style.
I have never been so shocked. Upon opening the box I see angled painted metal instead of wooden legs? The faux finish was also chipped at various points. Just really feel taken by the presentation. Returning the seems like more hassle than it's worth. Grave Disappointment
Perfect style for my space!
I'm so sad about how much I hate the quality of this lamp. I was so excited for it to come, staring the UPS guy down as he walked to my door so I could run out and grab it. The quality is horrible. As others have said, it's not wood, but rather metal that they tried to make look like wood. The paint/paper/whatever that is is peeling off all over the place. The lampshade is frayed all over the top and bottom. Aside from all the flaws (which weren't a result of shipping as the box was fine), the color in real life is completely different than the pictures, so it doesn't match anything else in the room. The hardware doesn't come separate; the screws are threaded through the top piece so you have to take them out and then put them back on with the legs, which is a step that could have been completely avoided if they just included the screws in a little bag. I've ordered a lot of things from overstock at this point, and this was by far the worst product I've received. *UPDATE: This review was pending from a YEAR ago... My photos are denied?! I don't know they - they're just pictures showing the product. That's pretty sketchy IMO! I was never able to get it boxed back up for a return so it just got put in a minimally-used room. Still works fine but I stand by it being a cheap material with poor execution & would not recommend.
Wobbly and lopsided. Served its purpose in a corner. Liked that the on off switch is on the floor so as to not further wobble the lamp. But would not buy again, especially in a house with kids. Poor quality.
The perfect lampshade. I've had it for years. The only caveat is that the shade velcros together, so you just want to make sure that seam is facing the wall. It never comes apart though, so I'm very happy with the quality.
