Perfect size for my two year old grandson. My daughter and her husband put it together in a few hours with no problems. IT exceeded my expectations with the quality and beauty of these junior bunk beds. Sturdy and well made. My grandson said 'happy' for the first time when he climbed up smiling!

I absolutely love this bunk bed. Fits perfectly in the space and because of the low height it sits exactly as I had hoped under a window. Very easy to assemble and is super sturdy....no wiggle or play in it at all. I would highly recommend this bed. Did my research and this bunkbed was exactly what I wanted, needed and expected. Although it is considered refurbished......it looks brand new.

I would have given five stars except several pieces did have “hairline” cracks in them. I want to say it took about five hours to assemble both bunkbeds. The directions were fairly easy. the grandchildren love them. Currently they are age 5 1/2 And three years that are on the top bunk. The other two grandchildren that will each have a bottom bunk are currently 13 months and 15 months. So this coming summer when they are closer to two they will probably leave their cribs and go to the bottom bunk. There was very little headroom between the bottom bunk and the top bunk. And an adult can not set up on the bottom bunk. And I’m going to guess probably by the time the child was eight years old they were definitely have to duck Their head. I’d like the fact that the overall top bunk height is approximately 4 feet off the ground. If the little ones for one-year-olds or two-year-olds rolled out of bed it’s so low it’s no big deal. Although ceiling fans could still be reached by the children on the top bunk. It would be difficult for the three-year-old at this time in the 5 1/2-year-old Has been instructed to use a certain ladder so she’s far away from the fan, especially at night. Although I have to say more than likely the fans will never be on while they’re utilizing the bunkbeds. If you have a bigger room ours are one is like a 10 x 10 and the other is like a 12 x 12. Then it’s not an issue. Although all bunkbeds are difficult to To change the sheets. The bottom one is definitely harder than a regular bunkbed as I’ve owned both kinds in the past. Because the adults on these low profile bunkbeds literally are laying on the mattress at the same time you’re trying to make it. However depending on your room size, and how much furniture you have in it you may be able to slide the bunkbed out of position towards the center of the room while you’re making the beds and then slide it back. Catch I do believe overall they are worth the value. I did purchase mine on sale just be for New Year’s and therefore the sale on them was almost 1/3 of the price. Be sure that while you were assembling and you do not tighten everything down beyond finger tight and so you have room to wiggle literally a bad while you’re getting the slats in and pegs and stuff of that nature but overall if you do that it won’t be difficult to put together. This particular low profile bed stated can hold up to 250 pounds on each bed. This is actually quite intriguing and one of the reasons why I bought this one over other low profile bags is because most of them said they only held between 165 to 185 pounds. Although they do state only one person should be on each bed at a time it is nice to have that extra poundage so that Nana or Papa Can actually lay down with one of the young ones as they fall asleep. And I also suggest for the lower bunks that duvet Comforters are a little smaller than your regular comforter and therefore you don’t have to talk as much underneath the mattress. Because all bedding really needs to be tucked underneath the mattress so that it won’t look messy and like the bed has never been made even when it is. Slats are very close together so you really should not need an extra piece of plywood in order to hold betting on the top from hanging down into the low bunk. When my kids were young and had bunkbeds that was the problem so we always put a piece of plywood Down underneath the mattresses. Overall I’m sure these beds will be good at least up to say junior high age maximum. Before they would probably need the standard taller bunkbeds. But for now they “have their own space” while they’re growing visiting Nana and Papa and having fun sleepovers.

I like that this bunkbed is low to the ground and I’m not worried about my kid on the top bumping her head on the ceiling fan. My son on the bottom will have to be mindful getting out, because he’s 8 and can’t sit all the way upright to get out. But, he still loves being in such a cool little space. The color and design are nice, it’s a sturdy piece of furniture. Glad I bought it!

Use care when assembling. Do not over-tighten or dent can occur around bolts. Due to this I would not think this product could be assembled and reassembled for many moves. But it does look nice and we love how low it is.
