These mats helped turn my kitchen into a true "dining room." The deep blue & white white mottled-, woven look has the appeal of a French farmhouse. From a practical standpoint, they don't show the signs of a messy eater (at least for a view meals.) When they eventually need cleaning, I put them in the washer in cool or warm water, then line dry (They are 100% cotton.) The only draw back, is that usually found with any natural fiber; the edges tend to curl a bit. Given the pluses I can live with this minus. My family does not notice. If the President planned a visit I might go so far as to iron them. To be truthful, however, I might just weigh the edges down with cutlery, or do nothing at all. I guess you could tell, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and hope you will be as well.
This tablecloth is made from a beautiful, heavy weight fabric, and creates an elegant table setting. I have purchased both the tablecloth and the matching napkins for my own personal use, and also as a gift for my daughter. We absolutely love these Lenox Laurel Leaf table linens and highly recommend them!
I ordered the tablecloth as a last ditch effort to salvage my kitchen table after the finish started wearing badly on the top. I didn't want to get rid of the table but also didn't want to spend the time / money to refinish it. I have found that most tablecloths don't really have a 'modern' vibe, so I was thrilled to find this design! It's cute and modern and goes great with my decor. The price point was spot on, and I might order another one just to have on standby as a backup!
I ordered my tablecloth on 12/26, and received it 12/29. That was a good thing. When I opened it up, the quality looked good. So far, happy about that. However, I bought the tablecloth to fit my table with and without the butterfly leaf. That's why I ordered the 60x60 square tablecloth. What I got was 58x60. A couple of inches short. That makes it a rectangle, not a square. Now, it just barely covers the table when the leaf is utilized. Not happy about that. So I guess I'll have to buy another tablecloth to use when the table is expanded.
