This sculpture is just as pictured and is perfect for my sister, who is a first time mom struggling to feel like she is doing the best she can for her daughter. She loves it though.
This now makes my third large suar wood statue and it is the final piece on the left side of my mantel. The Handmade Wood Statuette, Bathing At The River goes on the right side of my main statue Handmade Suar Wood Gymnast Couple Statuette, sitting in the middle. They are all very different, unique and attractive which I like. I'm also supporting someone in a faraway land make a living in a place where that isn't so easy to do. The wood is very smooth and a light brown color. The Gymnast Couple at 18'-19' holds the place of honor in the center of my fireplace mantel in my high ceiling living room. The two others of similar quality and uniqueness that are approx 15" high towards the ends of the mantel to balance the center one out. The combination (or even one by itself) all make a nice draw for the eye. Don't buy because I don't want too many out there, lol.
This is one of my favorite decorations. It is so simple yet elegant. Came exactly as described and makes me happy whenever I look at it, due to the simple beautiful theme of a mother and child
