Sturdy and attractive piece of furniture. Admired by neighbors as an outstanding value and better than any bunk seen at furniture stores. Lots of screws, pegs and bolts to assemble. Time consuming job to assemble but well worth the effort! The boys were totally excited by the new twin bunks and spring mattresses! I would definitely recommend this product.

The product I received was as advertised. Fit was good; all fastener holes were in the correct places and the correct number of fasteners were provided. We ordered white, and the semi-gloss finish was clean and of decent thickness. My biggest concern with products such as these is the quality of the hex head bolts - it is a big problem when "soft" steels are used and they easily strip, or the hex cuts in the heads don't tightly fit the Allen wrench. A standard 4mm right angle Allen was provided, but when so many hex bolts are used, a tool like that can be very tiring to use. Do yourself a favor and get a t-handle metric set, or find a metric hex bit that can be used in a drill. Only real issue I had with this item was that button-style covers were not provided for the bolt holes, to cover the fastener heads. Shouldn't have surprised me, since the product pics do show some bolt holes on the finished exterior. Still, some white button covers would've made for a nice clean finish on the frame.

I did research on top of research, to find a solid bunk bed, that spit into 2 twin beds, but it needed to be at a reasonable price and I'm happy to report I found it! It was easy to assemble and is a great quality for the cost. I would recommend this bed again and again!
