We bought this shed almost 2 years ago. I took the other reviewers advice and poured a concrete slab. I had no problems with panels lining up. We wanted a shed for our hottub, since wood was not an option we decided on this one. The size allows a little room to get on the sides plus plenty of room to get out and dry off in front. Great for those single digit temperature nites. The windows add great ventilation. It took me and my 2 teenage sons about a day and a half. We took our time and separated the hardware before we started. I added a bead of liquid nails adhesive to the top of the walls where the roof panels attach. Just to give the screws some help in case of a side wind. I anchored the metal frame posts into the concrete and was amazed at how sturdy it made it. We have used it thru some pretty big snow storms and it has held up great. I need to replace another shed that is rotting out and will definitely get another Lifetime shed, just need to figure out what size. Great price, Great product, and a Great buy!
Purchased this great unit, item was packed very good. One over head cabinet had some slight damage from shipped, the way the straps were pulled tight. Took pics and overstock sent out a replacement very fast. Unit was very easy to assemble. I personally anchored the right side of bamboo top and top cabinet directly to my concrete garage wall and used the second storage locker on the other side of garage. I did not have enough room for the regular setup. Bamboo top looks terrific and lower cabinets were easy to level. Cabinets are made of metal but I would not say they are flimsy. Overall very pleased with this unit especially at this price point.
I actually bought this shed used from someone else who had it for about 5 years. Three of us disassembled the shed in a matter of about an hour. (Important note: be sure to take plenty of photos or a video of the assembled shed so you know how to put it all back together if you don't have the instructions). After adding a 5' extension to it, the shed is both wide and deep enough to store four 4-wheelers. The convenient shelves can be located in a variety of positions so I hung them at a height where they would be out of the way. In the end, it was exactly what I was looking for. One downside of taking this apart and reinstalling is the screw holes don't hold up too well. When I reattached the roof sections, several screw locations wouldn't "bite" anymore and the screws would fall out during a wind storm. It didn't fall apart, but it's not quite as secure. I suppose that is the nature of plastic...it just isn't as durable as wood or metal. The windows are a little hokey to open/close but I don't really use them. Mostly I just appreciate that natural light has a way in. Overall I am happy with the product. It has a few flaws but holds up well and fairly easy to assemble (with an extra hand or two). Would recommend to anyone.
