We had the handyman to install this, he didn't seem to have any problem. It paired nicely with the thermo curtains. We are satisfied with our purchase.

  • Awesome Rod!

These are great - hard to find something made so well for this price. Be mindful of the circumference of the rod though - it's very large and I wound up having to return my first pair of curtains as they wouldn't fit the the rod. The pair of grommet panels would go on, but couldn't open or close as they were the same size opening as the rod width. Note: they were the largest grommet panels I could find in stores or online. My second attempt were grommet-less and the pocket for a rod wouldn't fit, but the back tabs did and they look great.

  • Beautiful, but you need to rig it.

As my first purchase from overstock, I ordered 3 sets of these curtain rods. Two of the 66"-115" and one 165"-215 expandable rods. They were delivered quickly, and arrived in good shape. There were a few spots where the black paint had scratched off, but not enough to make me return them. My biggest gripe about these rods, is that the plastic dowel-like pieces that you slide into each end of the rod (that allows the finials to be attached) only fit one side of the rod. Because the rods are expandable, the outer sleeve is slightly larger. And with only one size of dowel, makes this a frustrating buy. I'm not the type to return things, and my husband is handy, so he "rigged" them with cardboard and masking tape... All three rods had this problem. I hope my "fix" lasts. If you really want these rods, I suggest you head to the hardware store and buy wooden dowels to slide into the ends.

  • Quality product at a great price

Bought for my new home where we installed them close to ceiling to allow use of longer curtains for more dramatic look. These are substantial rods and take two people to both install and to get down/re-hang poles when drapes added. Look lovely. Good price too. Would have given 5 stars if the end points wouldn't have broken off. Very happy with purchase.
