First of all, take in mind this is a 16-quart cooker: huge. My husband keeps on making fun of how I am going to cook for all the neighborhood, but it has to be that big if you want to prepare food for a lot of people or to freeze it and have healthy "fast-food". Second, it is not said on the description but it is on the box: NOT for ceramic or induction stoves. Then, even though the aluminium does not look very good, the safety features seem outstanding. Three or four different ways to prevent an accident working at the same time. And the accident will not happen if you follow the main rule for this kind of cookware: do not open if there is steam coming out. So this cooker is nosy-husband-safe! It has a manual explaining everything. It also includes three overpressure release valves with different weights to choose depending on how full is the cooker. So, 1 star down for the cheap looking aluminium and another because it cannot be used on ceramic or induction and that is not even said in the description.
This is a great helper for my induction cooktop. I use it in my camper because I have the aluminum, lightweight cookware, and this is perfect to conduct the heat to my pans. However, I think that it is costly.
This product allowed me to use all of my favorite cookware on my new induction cooktop range! I had originally planned to order the hybrid model so that I could continue to use all of my glass and stainless pots and pans in addition to my cast iron. This simple converter is so practical - I ordered the full induction range. This smaller size works well and I can use it with my stainless steel pressure cooker. My only reservation about this is the length of the handle-if it were slightly shorter it would store more easily but I consider that a very minor issue. I recommend this to anyone who purchases an induction range and does not want to completely replace their cookware.
