I have prepared several entres using immersion method with this device and a close friend who is a chef at a highly rated steak house gave me a big thumbs up for as he said "you have outdone yourself and I am impressed". The meat was a mid grade cut that finished and tasted like a high quality cut. The texture, flavor and juiciness were far above anything expected. My daughter, a chef for a local restaurant has ordered two of these after tasting and seeing how easy prep is.
