My 5 year old son LOVES his new bed. The color is great. The assembly took a while but made sense because if all the sections. You build the dresser, then the closet with the hiding cubby, then the desk and stairs, next the book shelf, and lastly the bed section. So lots of steps. Mr and my husband spent a total of about 4.5 hours assembling the bed. The bed arrived in 3 100+ pound boxes and a couple of edges got dinged but nothing noticeable. Missing 2 screws to complete the desk. That is the only reason that it's not 5 stars.

Having to return to Overstock because it arrived damaged. Appears to be particle board and cheap quality. Really frustrated because having to wait on UPS to come inspect and pick it up, which can take up to two weeks! Haven’t received my refund yet either, which I was told would be 1 to 2 business days 3 business days ago. Customer service isn’t great either when I was waiting on a rep to answer my texts about all this. Very slow in responding and not a lot of effort put into explaining the process. Will probably not be ordering from Overstock again after this.

It is a cute bed but is extremely difficult to put together. Also it is straight up particle board with a veneer. Many pieces came damaged which ends up taking awhile to replace. Overall it’s a good looking bed but considering the quality of the materials it should be substantially cheaper. Looks as it does in the picture. And it is a good looking bed.
