We just ordered another batch of these to cover a new kitchen partition wall. Over a year ago we used this same tile to do all the kitchen walls, they have lasted great. We stuck them vertical instead of horiz. Added perceived height to the room.

If you decide to proceed with this concept as a backsplash, be prepared for a labor of love. I also covered the soffit above my cabinets. These tiles were very difficult to install. They are heavy and needed to be tacked to the wall with push pins so they would not sag while the Thinset adhesive was drying. It was a two people job, one applying Thinset adhesive to a small area and the other placing the tile, while the other was ready with lots of push pins to secure the sheets in place. They scratched easily, and cutting them required not only a wet tile saw, which cut them very slowly, but the metal edges on each small individual tile had to be filed, as the saw left quite a burr. Also there were no small filler pieces available from any manufacturer I could locate. Some of the sheets were covered with a stick on plastic sheet and some were not. The plastic sheet protected the tiles from scratching while handling. I ordered multiple packages in one order. Some of the tiles had a different sheen than others, and of course that was not noticeable until the plastic protective sheets were removed when the tiles were on the wall. Overstock made good on this variance and sent me another case of tile sheets so that my project could have visual consistency. They were very accommodating and supportive. Like all stainless steel surfaces, they spot easily with water, but they also clean easily with a bit of diluted white vinegar and a micro fiber cloth. Be sure to use a no sand grout as the sanded grouts will scratch the heck out of them. If done very carefully, and in the right setting, they are stunning when used as a backsplash in a white kitchen with white cabinets and stainless appliances. If mine scratch too much with use and cleaning, I plan to use a small finish sander with 300 emery cloth and go over the entire surface.
