I installed this tile in my main floor bathroom. My house was built in 1900 so I wanted something that looks old. It's been installed for 4 years now, it's held up very well, no chips, cracks or loose grout. The reason for only 3 stars is because 1. its not really white and black, its closer to a very pale gray and white and 2. it is so porous that I can't keep it clean. It stains very easily and dirt has to be scrubbed with a brush, dust and dirt just stick. It would be ok in a bathroom not used very often, but not on your main floor. I did seal it, hoping it would help keep it clean, and it did somewhat but not great. I wouldn't use unglazed tile ever again....looks good/authentic, but too hard to keep clean.

I bought these for my powder room floor when I remodeled it. I lifted the black accent tiles out of each tile pack and replaced them with brown/ gold mosaic glass tiles to match the ones I adhered to the wall above the sink. The glint of gold coordinated too with the gold in the wallpaper on the three other walls. Love the effect! I get more wow comments from guests. The Somer Tile were easy to lay and they are very durable.

I bought a box of this to patch up some damaged black and white tile in my bathroom, but the color was a total mismatch. It's a good quatity beautiful tile but should be listed as black and gray, not black and white. Also the individual rectangular tiles are actually .75" x 1.5", not 1"x2" as listed in the item description.

When my tile arrived the box was so damaged I was sure that every tile would be broken. But surprisingly the individual boxes inside were protected by bubble wrap and tile was intact. The tile itself is great! It arrived within 2 weeks. I am excited to see it after install.

These tiles look so great in my New Orleans 100 year old home. We used them in the bathroom as part of our DIY renovation and I was so impressed how easy they were to lay since they are all on the mesh backing, and how easy they are to cut because they cuts are all small for each individual tile. My only complaint is that they were a bit irregular and sometimes the end tiles were glued on a bit crooked, but we just fixed it as we went along. Also, I used bright white grout which may have been a mistake because at first glance you can not even see the pinwheel pattern of the white tiles. Oh well, as the grout gets dirty they will show again!

  • Perfect for my retro bathroom renovation

These tiles came quickly and well packaged. I have not opened all the boxes or laid them down. They are thin and slightly on the grayish side. Unglazed so there is absolutely no sheen. Should be great for a wet bathroom area. They will work well with my 1930s retro bathroom renovation. They remind me of my grandfathers old apartment and I will be using a darker grout to complete the look. I saw similar tiles on a vintage type website for much more. My fingers are crossed... I hope I can give them a 5.

We installed this tile and it looks awesome. As a mosaic tile, it is thinner than standard tile, but this also makes it lighter weight. Overall, I am more than pleased with how it transformed our bathroom.
