  • Beautiful tile

I love the tile. But the installer is not in love. The tiles fall of the mesh. The pieces are not 12x12 so make sure you measure right. I had to order additional tile. If your order this you need to order additional tile as there is a match pattern . Aside from the tile being difficult to install, once down its gorgeous.

  • Once installed and sealed much darker than picture
    Verified Purchase

My installer said this was the hardest tile he had ever worked with - pieces falling off the mesh and such. But man-o-man is it absolutely beautiful now that it is installed. We "enhanced" sealed it and the colors are way darker than pictured which I liked since we had an espresso cabinet but if you are looking for light blue and soft grey's will be unhappy. If instead you are looking for dark blues/blacks and rusts you will be happy.

  • difficult to install
    Verified Purchase

By far the most difficult installation of my career! The tiles are VERY uneven in spacing and thickness. Many tile came loose from the backer sheet and there was a fair amount of spalling of the stone. The thickness of the stones varies GREATLY so acheiving a smoother surface is IMPOSSIBLE and grouting is an exercise meant only for the very patient. Had I not been married to the customer for 26 years I would have sent it back! GOOD LUCK! In the end it looks cool, but very rustic. Probably more suited for a Colorado mountain cabin than a turn of the century traditional home.
