Going to agree with previous reviewer who noted poor design and quality. The bed looked great when put together but within 6 months of assembly, the bed has fallen apart. In the process of seeing how BB&B/Overstock can remedy the situation, but it's not been straightforward. Avoid the headache and find another bed!
This bed is cheap, I have no clue how it's gotten so many great ratings and reviews. This bed is DEFINETLY not solid wood. the construction is cheap and makes no sense. the panels are in two pieces each for some reason and they are joined by a cheap metal plate. If I didn't already put it together, I would return this bed. I feel like I've downgraded from my previous bed. Really super disappointing, I do not recommend this bed, especially if you are purchasing based on the solid wood/real wood description
Hard to assemble by yourself but doable. When assembled it's an awesome and sturdy bedframe.
This bed was a great addition to our master bedroom. My husband assembled it, so I can't speak to that process too much. But it looks very sleek and modern. The color of the wood goes perfectly with our bedroom decor. It feels very sturdy and we love that no box spring is necessary. Our cats scratched up the fabric on our previous bed so I like that this is strictly all wood.
This bed has worked out wonderfully for a spare bedroom in my home. First of all it's very nice. The style can go with contemporary or rustic. I love the color. The biggest thing for me was not needing a box spring. The platform removes the need for it and is just so convenient. I love it.
I have been sleeping on this bed frame since I received it and I have many positive things to say about it but also a few negatives. It is a very pretty bed; it matches my room perfectly. It was relatively easy to put together but did take some time. It has been great to sleep on, in terms of comfortability and is very sturdy. I also appreciate that it has space underneath for storage. I have a king-sized mattress, and this bed is advertised as a king size frame but there is a 7-inch gap at the end of the bed where the mattress finishes, the frame is slightly too large. The bed frame has 4 legs in each corner and also smaller legs throughout the underneath for support. These smaller legs have feet on them that can be unscrewed somewhat to ensure they are level with the floor, and even though they have been unscrewed all the way, they did not reach the floor and made the bed sink in the middle. I have since added a small piece of wood under each of these feet and it has solved the problem. Overall, I really like the bed.
The Asher solid wood platform bed is exactly that, solid. It came well packaged and protected. It is heavy and well made. We love the look. It has a very neutral color that can work in many spaces. It was easy assemble, doesn't need a box spring, and is very sturdy. Again solid. Check it out if you are looking for a step up from boring cheap options. This is a great value that will last a long time. Well done.
I am so excited to have finally recieved my Asher queen size wooden platform bedframe along with all the pieces, of course! I have my box spring and mattress on the floor until today! After taking it all out of the box and putting it together, it looks beautiful. The light wood color is amazing and it is sturdy! You don't even need a box spring on it either! You should go buy one, you will love it too!
This is a good bed frame for the price. Assembly was relatively easy. It was time consuming because most of the assembly is with an Allen Wrench. I would suggest having the but to use with a drill to save yourself a lot of time and to make sure you get it nice and tight. Instructions were easy to understand. I do like that there are extra supports throughout the bottom of this bed frame to keep it nice and sturdy. It sits up ar a reasonable level so there is no problem getting into bed. The look of it is very chic. We got the king sized one and our king mattress fit like a glove.
This Asher Queen Size Platform Bed was an easy build. It was something that I had been looking for quite awhile. I must admit I am a picky person when it comes to finding exactly what I want. This fit me perfectly. Unfortunately my phone went out so I do not have pictures, but rest assure it is a nice piece of furniture. It is well built and looks great.
