The sofa looks very nice. However, we had trouble putting one of the legs on because the holes to put the screws in were a bit off, so we had to tweak it a bit. Also, the depth of the sofa (including legs) is actually close to 37 inches. I was under the impression that when folded up, it would be 32 inches. I'm also having a little trouble folding it down to a bed. Maybe I got a defective one??
This is a very good little love seat. It is sturdy enough for almost 400 pounds of people to sit on it at once, without creaking. I think the other reviewers who expressed concern about the "flimsy" materials do not understand that the 2-foot wide piece of fiberboard that makes up the back of the couch is itself a beam, to support the woven seat base. The seat base reminds me of the Danish couch my family owned (and four of us sat on) all through the 1970s. It is supported in the front by a 4-inch piece of wood and in the back by the 2-foot wide fiberboard. I have no concerns about its ability to support me (210 pounds) and my son (175) at the same time. The love seat is a nice addition to our small living room. Because it stands up on legs and you can see the floor under it, it takes up less visual space than the La-Z Boy love seat that it replaces. The cushions are a nice bronze color that coordinates well with our large, brown, leather couch. No one is going to be fooled into thinking this is some designer original, but it looks nice in a modest way, not cheap or college-apartment. I like that the cushions can easily be replaced or re-covered without much fuss. It is comfortable to sit and read on for an hour or more.
This couch is absolutely gorgeous. It has so much more personality and life to it than anything I've seen elsewhere. It is also incredibly comfortable, and the perfect size for me (5' 4") to curl up with my legs under me with a good book, lie down, or even sleep. Yes, it is even comfortable for sleeping. Buy it. You will not regret it!!!
Very Poor Quality. The support under cushions is a couple 1/2 inch flimsy boards with a cheap paper like fabric over it. This is not grey!! It is a light linen looking brown.
