The loveseat arrived very well packaged, with clear instructions. We were short by two long bolts, but used our own. The tolerances for the fittings between frame and cushion are off in some places, by 1/8" up to 5/8". We had to enlarge bolt holes in the wood pieces to align them with the seat and back. This was a nuisance and a disappointment, but minor, if you are a bit resourceful. The fabric is a wonderful tweedy mix of neutral shades, with a homespun vibe but still quite sophisticated. Calling it "cream," as in the description, isn't really fair or accurate; it has a natural muslin color, blended with slightly darker tan and cooler grey. Really very pretty and adaptable in decorating. I was surprised to find that the seat is supported by springs and isn't just a block of foam. It is a firm seat but very comfortable, and the angle of seat to back is just right. The low arm is exactly what I like, and allows for a nap or "reading sideways" (lying down and reading) if that's your thing. This is an excellent VALUE and I would endorse this loveseat and/or the matching chair, without hesitation!
After reading the other reviews, I was surprised by the poor quality. The metal finish is more like paint, and it is chipped in a few places. The vinyl is thin and there are buckles in the upholstering. The foam feels like it will sink fast. The idea of the settee is great, but the reality does not live up. It looks great from a distance and this is the only reason it gets three stars. Also, it was made this year, hardly overstock. Rather, it seems like it was made for a quick buck
