This is another great product by Cuisinart. Great design with just the right amount of functions. After looking at cookers every where, I decided on this one and I'm not disappointed. Highly recommend!!!
I have been wanting a good Pressure Cooker, so I Purchased this Cuisinart CPC 600, and glad I did. It cooks fast and the finished cooked foods were excellent. Couldn't have purchased a better Pressure Cooker.
This bad boy does EVERYTHING. This is my 2nd one. I downgraded and passed my 6-QT on to my daughter-in-law as more and more kids began leaving home! Our family has taken our Cuisinart on campouts & cooked in hotel rooms w/it! As our home was being remodeled it replaced our range and oven...for an entire YEAR. I used the boil setting to boil eggs, pasta or rice-in-a-bag regularly. I've slow cooked Kahlua Pig in it for 2 days and carnitas for a day/day and a half. My my finest chili is made in this baby! I've sauteed and pan fried New York steaks and filet mignon w/great success. Artichokes! Steam them, thn BBQ thm! YUM It cleans up real easy too. Just lift up and BAM! One pot/pan for it all. I've even used it as a humidifier for my kids...REALLY. If the cord were retractable it w/b the perfect cooking device!
Purchased the Cuisinart 4-in-1 cooker after a disaster with the lid of my old oval Rival Crock-Pot. So far have done BBQ ribs (slow cooker), roast chicken (slow cooker recipe), Pork Button Ribs with garlic, peppers, and black bean sauce (browning and stir frying), and the most amazing corned beef brisket we've ever eaten. Love that you can switch back and forth between cooking functions and temperatures while in operation. Cleanup is an absolute breeze. Good capacity (cooked 2 packaged corned beef briskets at once with plenty of room). It is worth noting that when "slow cooking", the "simmer" setting is closest to the "low" setting on a regular crock-pot (I actually thought "simmer" would be higher than "low", but not so). Looks great on the counter, and is living there (our old crock-pot stayed out of sight when not being used). Got it on sale and don't regret my purchase for an instant - fabulous buy! My only issue with this cooker is that there is no "delay timer", which should have been easy to include since this is a feature of bread machines and many rice cookers. Before buying, I saw a review on topreviews.best, there you can see all pros and cons. But as for my, the main pros are: No stick, easy to clean, insert is lightweight as opposed to a heavy "crock" insert, high quality, stain resistant, attractive design. Cons: None, really, other than lack of "delay start" function.
