We are remodeling a 10 year old house and we wanted something that would say "Wow" so we went with the industrial look. Distressed, black cabinets, beige, brown, rust granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Even I say WOW when I walk in to my kitchen! Amazing look and quality that you can't beat! Even our contractor wanted to know where I found something so beautiful so I know he will be ordering this product for
I absolutely adore this sink. The photo doesn't do it justice - it's a gorgeous piece of hardware. I bought it to sit on top of a rustic wood vanity in my bathroom, and it's perfect. The look of the modern lines of the sink against the distressed wood is lovely. My husband appreciates that he can fit his forearm down in the sink so as to...what? Rinse his arm hairs? Wet his elbows? I'm not sure, but it was a selling point for him, and I'm just pleased he's pleased. Not that I'm going to let him actually *use* the sink. It's just too pretty. :) Anyway, you should get this sink, too.
This piece is gorgeous in my guest bath wwhere I have a sort of jungle theme; palm leaves, animal print towels and accessories, tan distressed walls. The print on it is a bit Indian in flavor, and the colors are rich and expensive-looking. Hardware good quality. I am just delighted with this purchase.
I'm converting a distressed antique bombe style carved wooden chest to a vanity and needed a vessel sink that would complement it. This Vigo glass sink works well, in fact the scalloped lip closely matches the curved rim of the cabinet top. The sink is a bit more massive than I expected -- the glass is very thick and the color is a deeper shade than it appears in the photo, more of a rich almost metallic-sheened teal. I like it, but you ought to consider before you buy one that this sink needs to be balanced with a fairly good sized base, It would overpower any vanity less than 30" wide. It has a sort of rustic, handmade look, which is perfect for my design. The quality is impressive for the price. I had looked at vessels 2 to 5 times the price that were not nearly as unique and substantial. I haven't finished the bathroom and actually used the sink yet, but I did get the whole vanity assembled and the sink was simple to install with a standard pull up drain (I used a Victorian style tall vessel faucet and drain assembly in oiled bronze to match the hardware on the chest). It wouldn't look out of place in a bathroom in Versailles Palace!
