The table looks nice and appears to be sturdy and well made. Ours arrived with chips on two of the legs. Fortunately, these were on the inside at the bottom of the legs and easily touched up. Otherwise, everything came in good condition and it was pretty easy to assemble.
This table and chairs arrived during the night so we could not inspect the box. The table top box was damaged. We found one leaf has a scratch in it that is 1" x 3 ". I have written Overstock 4 times and called the trucking company twice. This is day 5 and still no response. I hope this review gets their attention. The product is beautiful and seems very well made and solid. We put the chairs together but the table top sits in our garage waiting for them to contact us. If they will respond and replace the table top, we certainly will give a better rating.
Simply beautiful table and chairs. Solid wood, quality construction. The table top color is a rich henna oak that just enhances the wood grain. The black base just sets it off perfectly.
Wow, so perfect for my small dining room! The additional 24" (adding the two 12" leaves) adds additional space needed for larger gatherings, couldn't be happier!
This set was worth the wait! I had some difficulties with transport companies, but Overstock reps were gracious and ready to address all the difficulties. Another set was ordered to replace the first set and the whole replacement was within 2 weeks. Thanks Shauna and Mark. The table is beautiful and the chairs are sturdy and comfortable. Very rich looking. Great look and great price!
We saw the reviews and thought this was a higher end product. at least for us the price seemed so. Over all looks are good. Heavy wood and good colors. The table comes with two leaves, problem is if you use only one the alignment pegs don't match up unless they are installed in the correct location, then the under table locks will not lock. Smaller "problem" is the under table alignment wood supports do not line up. No big deal just not a sign of the quality I was looking for. The chairs do not come assembled. Ok but the glue for two of the chairs was dried up in the tubes., ,,,,,,, All in all an ok product, maybe the wood is worth the price, but the quality is not., ,,,,,,,,,,, Live and learn. Good luck trying to return it.
