Very sturdy and easy to assemble. The color is more brown than I expected. Considered returning it, but there are many places in my home I'll be able to use it.
I purchased this bench because the grandchildren always want to sit next to each other. The bench is sturdy and it has a nice finish. There were no sharp edges and it was ready to use after assembly. I did put 2" square felt pads on the bottom or the legs instead of the plastic pieces that were supposed to be nailed on. The bench easily slides closer to the table when not in use. According to the box, the bench weighs 33 pounds. It will not accidentally tip over. The kids love sitting on it (me too). I've noticed that they drop less food on the floor when they sit on the bench.
I love this bench. It works as a foyer bench most of the time and we bring it into the dining room for when guests are over. The color is great and its very sturdy. Pretty heavyweight.
The table looks good. It's the same color as the pictures online. Was easy to assemble and is has been taking blows from my niece and is holding up well.
