Very happy with these - they are sturdy, a crisp white color, and stylish. They don't occupy as much space around the table as you might think, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about the size of my guest sitting in the chair as you might have to with other similarly priced chairs. Two of them arrived with minor scratches; it wasn't worth the hassle to return. There's more assembly with these chairs than others I've purchased, but nothing crazy.
The pilot holes were at least an inch off from where they needed to be to assemble the chairs. Cool looking, and comfortable, but completely unusable. Disappointing.
I have had these gorgeous chairs in my kitchen for nearly a month, One has already broken. I am so sad - it is hard to find this color in a kitchen chair - I am more sad that I let my love of red carry me away with these poorly made chairs. I ordered 6 to go with my new white table they were shown with. Bad deal for me!
I have long been looking for dining room chairs I did a lot of looking but really did not want to spend a huge amount as this dining room only gets used a few times a year. I purchased 8 of them.My husband had them together in no time they look great we are pleased and looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner with our sons new family. they are stylish and fit the bill and the shipping they we here in just a few days we live on Martha's Vineyard and certain items are hard to find here, we do like to support our local economy but could not find anything like this certainly not for the price
We’ve had the black chairs for about a year (2 of them) and they have held up well. They go well with our farmhouse dining room table and decor.
Ordered the dark wood for the dining room table. Super easy to put together, comfortable and holding up well! Would totally recommend
I've been searching for the perfect chairs to go with my new table, and these were the perfect fit. Nothing in my house matches so I didn't want a dining set. These chairs (dark espresso) compliment any decor. They are very sturdy and easy to assemble. I've seen these exact chairs on another site and overstock has the best price.
These chairs are exactly the look I wanted. They look beautiful around our table, and are actually comfortable to sit on. Assembly was easy, my husband didn't have any issues and it took about 30 minutes or less per set of chairs. They wipe off extremely easy, even with all the spills are 4 little ones make. I do have one reservation, though. My 3 year old had a pencil at the table, and when i wasn't looking she was writing on the seat, and apparently trying to push the pencil into the chair seat. I can get the marks out easily, but because the material is cheap, there are now big indentations and she even destroyed some of the white paint where just brown from the bottom shows through. I was so disappointed. So, I great buy for the money, but know it's not the highest quality material, obviously.
Bought 4 of these chairs (and a bench) to go around my farm table. They arrived quickly, were easy to assemble, and look great! Very comfortable and lightweight, meaning my kiddos can push them in and out easily. They are a tad small but my 6'1" hubby says they feel just fine and of course they hold his weight.
These chairs are perfect! Really easy to assemble and looks great in my dining room.
Love these chairs. We've had them over a year and they are holding up great. They are in a formal dining room and don't get a lot of use. But still very happy with them!
The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because for the price, the chairs *look* okay. HOWEVER, you get what you pay for. There is paint chipped off in a couple of very small spots and being that I ordered black it is very noticeable because the chips show white underneath. They *WOULD BE* easy to assemble if the pre drilled holes were in the right places, but rest assured they are NOT! They were so far off on one of the chairs I had to leave a screw out!!! Also, they provide these round small black things to “hide” the screw holes in the sides of the chairs and they just sit in the hole, there is nothing to secure them so they fall out constantly. If this is all you can afford then they will do, but if you can afford better chairs your money will be better spent elsewhere! Not to mention I had a horrible shopping experience with overstock and plan to NEVER order anything from them EVER again! I originally ordered these chairs with a 30% code. They waited nearly a week to CANCEL my order and say they were out of stock. I went on the very next day and mysteriously they were back in stock. When I went to use my code it said it had already been used! So it used it up on the order they CANCELLED! I called customer service and the man I spoke with told me the best he could do was a 15% coupon. It was nearly a $15 difference in savings! I was livid! He told me my chairs would ship in one to two business days and be here within the week. They did not and we’re not and we’re 2 business days later than what he promised. Extremely unhappy customer.
I love these chairs. They look great with my black windsor chairs around the dining table. They're sturdy and were easy to assemble. They can fit in a traditional or contemporary setting, especially the gray.
I've had these for a little over a year now and they have not held up at all. It's just 3 of us using these chairs and the backs at two of the chairs are broken...and the little screw plugs never stayed in since the beginning...guess I could've glued them in. Paint has chipped in various spots, but not horrible. They were cheap though, so I guess you get what you pay for. They are good for temporary seating until you find something better.
These were the perfect addition to the two accent chairs at my dining table! They were super easy to put together and very sturdy. They are the exact farmhouse dining chairs I have been looking for!
These chairs were very simple to assemble. They arrived quickly, unscathed, and are sturdy with a good sized seat. A really nice finish to them... they fit just perfectly in my dining nook!
I bought these chairs 1.5years ago. Got 4 in the black color. We are a young couple with no children. We both weight 120lbs to 160lbs. We do have occasional guests. So the usage is kind of minimal. I am an artist who works from home so I do sit at the dining table for long hours sometimes. The seat tops started chipping after a few months. Each seat has 2-6 tiny chips which can be covered with some black paint or marker. After 3-4 months they started to wobble to i had to tighten the bolts at the bottom. Every few months i had to tighten the screws to keep it sturdy. Last week when i sat i heard a loud crack. One of the bottom beams hard cracked and the leg that was attached to that beam came loose. And this was a section that wasn't part of the initial assembly. I tried to glue it back with industrial wood glue but the chair wobbles. They are cute chairs but the quality is poor and don't last long.
I got these in white and black. They look fantastic and are very comfortable (unlike the similar ones Crate and Barrel sells, that are super uncomfortable an double the price). Pretty easy to assemble overall. Some of the screw holes in a couple of the chairs where a bit off, so it took some muscle work to shove it in there, but i did it!
I have only had these for a week so I might update this later on (I read from the other reviews that they break early but I took a chance due to an unbeatable price and great design). Assembly took a little work but was not hard. Aside from the screws included I used glue when I put the pieces together, just to boost them a little. Conveniently, the back of the chair comes ready made and fixed to the seat. I got the grey ones and they look awesome. No chipping yet. A nice plus is that the back of the chairs are really high and when you sit in them your spine falls in-between the bars, making it super comfortable.
I looked high and low for these chairs and couldn't find them anywhere. Pottery Barn was discontinued so I found something similar at C&B and bought them only to learn they were backordered for months. And more than double the price! Then I saw these and quickly cancelled my order with C&B and couldn't be happier. They need assembly and definitely a power tool to get them screwed on tight enough but once they are....they are great. Super happy with the price and paid and the look of these chairs. Thank you!
