Sturdy, not too difficult to put together, and exact color as pictured. Added cushions for comfort.
These chairs are solid wood which is why I am giving the 3 stars. However, they took 2 people to assemble since the supports pop out the moment you go to attach the other piece. It is more complicated than it should be. I have assembled furniture for a long time when doing property management and as a mother of 4. The last part is the chair seat. No pre drilled holes which is quite common. However, the back where the seat meets the back of chair (where your butt/back would be) never lines up perfect. No huge deal since only someone with OCD (myself) will ever notice. But the big kicker is one chair appears to have mold on it. I did wipe it down and it hasn't appeared to get worse (probably because the house is dry). Just disheartened as I feel with price point mold is something no one should deal with. I would have tried to do a return but we just moved into a new house and already have had a lot of company. These arrived later than it originally stated by a lot as is and didn't want to wait longer.
We bought these to chairs to go with the farmhouse-style round extendable table. These table match the table very nicely and are very comfortable.
With kids we didn't expect these to last long but they're still okay. They get dirty on the bottom legs but it might help if there was carpet. We have the white chair with natural wood seat and they're good looking.
First, I bought these 2 chairs only a few days ago and now they are on sale which is frustrating… even more when I can't finish to assemble them as there are no pre drills holes for the seating part!!! And on top of that, i am alone to put them together, it is really difficult, if not impossible. Very disappointing.
They are great if you like chairs that break after a year!
The chair broke in less than a month of use.
The chairs look better than I expected. Based on price and some of the reviews regarding quality, I was a bit concern, but at $*** for two chairs, it was too good to pass. First, quality appears to be decent. I don't have much experience with rubberwood, but appears to be a softer wood than oak. Chair style is versatile and can go with many table styles. I ordered black and it complimented my table well. Assembly instructions are not the best and can be confusing. My first chair took over 30 min and the remaining five took about 20-30 min each. Other downside is that there are no pre-drill holes for the seat and lower rail so don't be afraid to put in a little muscle to get it going into the wood. Also, for the seat, it would be great to have some markers to ensure proper alignment. I eye balled it. Doesn't affect sitting. I did have two issues. First, the front leg frame broke before even assembling. Upon inspection looks like the section that broke had a wood knot. Second, during tightening of the seat frame to the front leg frame, one of the legs cracked a bit, but is still useable. (Not sure for how long though.) This is where I wonder about rubberwood strength as it seems like a soft wood. Other than these two things, the chair overall seems pretty sturdy once put together.
