A very darling little set, but for me was hard to put together. There is 2 sets of screws that are very close in size. If you’re not paying close attention and if your eyesight for smaller items is a little impaired, you’ll end up using the wrong size screws in the wrong spots as I did! That’s why I gave it 4 stars.

I would recommend this set; I did not put on the leaf after reading the other reviews; I really like the table without it. Be careful when you screw the chairs together; one of the screws started to come through the leg. My only disappointment is that there is one board, about six inches long with a zigzag edge that is much darker than the rest of the tabletop. I cover that with a runner.

This table with two chairs fits perfectly in my very small kitchen. Very sturdy construction and easy to assemble. Very good quality for the price.

Great for a Small Space
This is a very sturdy table and chair set for the money. There were some minor flaws. There were 2 screws and 1 nut missing but my husband has plenty of spares. One of the chair seats had a 3 inch split but is not serious enough to warrant a return. The only disappointment is that the chairs can't fit under the table. The leg span is narrow enough but the seats are about 1/2 inch too wide. My husband will trim them at some point. All in all, a great table.

After a challenge, the product is wonderful
Thankfully my husband is a wonderful DIY person otherwise we would have had to ship this product back. The instructions did not match the product construction but the worst part was on one of the chairs where the cross bars were supposed to be installed, there were no holes drilled. He used the first chair as a guide and was able to drill the necessary holes to finish the construction. If you are not very handy, I would be very hesitant about ordering this product.

This table fits our needs perfectly - it is small when folded up to act a a meal table for two, and then when we have company or want to play some board games it folds out for plenty of space! Even enough room to do crafts/sewing on when extended. Awesome quality too!

4 chairs will not fit under the table. If the leaf is down it blocks the opening for another chair. 3 chairs would work, but not 4 at the same time.

No. Four chairs will not fit under this table. It only has one leaf. A third chair could bit under the end opposite the leaf. In order to use the fourth chair, the leaf would have to be extended.

A Phillips head screwdriver is required. The Allen wrench is furnished along with the screws. I had to use a power drill to put the seats on the chairs because there were no pre-drilled holes.
