The table is really shaky and badly constructed! It has nothing to cover the edges where the nails are screwed in. In contrast, the stools are amazing - really sturdy and well designed.

More than worth it, perfect size, small but not too small perfect color to match kitchen cabinets love the stools too.
Yesterday I received the stools; they are heavy duty and simple- in other words just what I was looking for. They say using a stool rather than a chair with a back is supposed to be better for your back; we will see. Now I just need to shrink my bottom a bit since I am not accustomed to these saddle benches. They are not too small, it is just that I supposed I am used to bigger stools. Today I waited for the table to arrive with much anticipation. Upon opening the box and removing all of the styrofoam sheeting and blocks I discovered a black table (wrong color.) Yes, I was dismayed but I did not allow myself to get overly upset (instead I began grinding my teeth and wondering if I should change my name to Murphy)(you know, as in Murphy's Law.) I came here to the library to use the computer since I do not have a functioning p.c. at home. I used the chat option and the first rep disconnected me (perhaps accidentally?) and the second one put through the request to the parts dept. re. the shipment of the correct table and re. the return of the black table. I called c/s and talked with a lovely young lady named Lynna. I wanted to double check if parts dept. could call me since the chat rep indicated they would only be able to email me. Lynna was lovely and made me smile and laugh despite the fact that I really did not want to smile and laugh. Once I get the correct table I will change this to a five star rating (hopefully it will allow me) Now, if something happens and I do not get the correct table I will call c/s and ask for Lynna because I may have a conniption and she seems to have the magic touch. I will be awaiting the Parts dept. phone call re the shipment of the correct table. I wish Lynna worked there also. , ,,, If you are thinking about this table it is simple and nice looking and sturdy.. much like my ex-boyfriend.
