This is a beautiful cabinet. I love that it is taller than average, as I am a tall woman. Be warned that it is very heavy and the top is attached. If you have to move it to the 2nd floor, it will be very difficult.

Vanity cabinet height great! I'm turning 65 remodel bathroom to assist me if wheel chair needed in future, this new system works well. Lost linen closet and medicine cabinet really gained storage space with this vanity. Which was the main reason I selected unit. I do not like Travertine countertop. It spots up, looking like its not clean.

I bought this because it was an all inclusive piece with a stone top. This type of item was not available in our local box stores at the time. I was trying to avoid a lot of the items that were of the pressed board quality. This item does have solid construction, and it is quite heavy. I love the storage space, and the look of the item. However, the price at over $XXX was steep. Today there are comparable items at the box stores for $XXX-$XXX. I wouldn't buy it again with the options that are currently available. The travertine is beautiful, but I later discovered that travertine is not recommended for bathrooms and wet places (bad for me since the floor and shower walls are all of this stone). That is because travertine is a very porous stone, which is filled with non-sanded grout to create a smooth surface. That being the case, over time you will see tiny spots where little holes and divots appear as the grout begins to disappear. This has been installed for about 16-18 months, and I am already seeing this. Additionally, having to use one cleaner for the surface of the bowl, and another for the surface of the stone is a bit inconvenient. As for the wood, it said real wood, but I am not sure of what type. The finish is not a real wood grain, it is painted on wood grain. I am finding other "wood" furniture with the same claim that is supposed to be "scratch resistant wood". Instead of scratching the wood, it chips the lacquered wood finish off, revealing a very pale and noticeable quazi-wood material underneath. It won't stain the way regular wood does, so I can't even touch up the chipped spots on the corners of the drawers and door faces from where the stand has been bumped with the mop handle.

My Mom ordered me this beautiful piece! I must say...its definitely one of the most beautiful bathroom vanities Ive ever seen! It looks more like a writing desk, or piece of furniture, you would use in any other room, minus the sink. lol. You will not regret purchasing this. Besides....no other money is invested as well in your home, as in the bathroom.

Vanity is very well made and pleasing to look at. We replaced a double vanity with this single due to space limitations. There is plenty of counter and storage space and we don't miss the second sink. The height of the cabinet is a plus, also. It really looks like a much more expensive piece. Good job, Overstock. Buyers, beware! Vanity is HEAVY. The counter comes premounted and has to be moved as one unit.
