Installed two of these in my renovated bathroom. Very happy with results. Concur with Karen's review on the build quality, durability of the components, especially the valve assembly. Also concur with her comments regarding the directions they provide. This is the only reason i bumped my rating down one notch. This shower is best considered for new construction or significant renovation. The more access you have to the shower wall cavity the better. Installation is that of a well experienced handyman in my opinion. NB - most importantly; someone must have been listening. Unlike what Karen experienced, my showers came with the necessary adaptors for all connections to be made to standard fittings (NPT) avaialable in the US. I read her review after i made the purchase, but prior to delivery. The adapters are indeed hard to find and VERY expensive. Was a pleasent surprise to not need them and is what kept me from likely returning the showers.
This was so simple to install, even I was able to use a little plumber tape and install it.
On this install, I used the existing goose neck (curved) one from my previous shower head. It works adequately but I saw this head with an arm that extends out.
Finally found one on ebay for $15.95 from China so I ordered it. Takes time for the item to get here but hope I ordered correct one. You may want to call a plumbing house but I opted to do it this way. I figure it would extend the head out over the shower more.
All in all, I am impressed with the quality of the product. Thinking of buying one for the guest bath.
