Just moved into a new place. Decided to try something new with this, "Rain shower" approach to bathing. The shower head came swiftly, three days after I placed the order to be precise. I followed the advice read in reviews to remove the white water regulator, in order to get better water pressure. The water regulator is quite simply a white disc that fits inside the shower head with a small hole in the center stopping full water flow, just FYI. The first shower was great. The adjustable arm was sturdy, and able to be positioned high over my head. I stand at about 5'10. This was no rain shower. It was a hurricane. I'm considering putting the the water regulator back in, just to slow it down a bit. Even with the Niagra Falls-esque water pressure, the experience was great. Totally relaxing. It's a snap to install. Absolutely worth the cost. Overstock is fantastic.
Just measure carefully, make sure your drain is where it's supposed to be. Wonderful shower base pan. I was very happy with the fit and finish of this pan!
Overall, a great value. The arm that extends the shower head from the wall to the overall center of the bathtub is not quite long enough, but it is a value for the money.
I was pleasantly surprised that much of the sub-assembly of the main rail was done. That said, it's a heavy beast, attesting to the quality and thickness of the doors themselves. It looks great, and allows us to see the subway tile work we just had done. Installation hint: If you notice a "scraping" sound that seems to be the upper rollers on the rail... know that the rollers halves are threaded together, and if you'll simply tighten them up, thus raising the height of the rubber center... problem solved.
