It took me about two months of looking at different shower doors to make-up my mind. When I saw this Aston shower door I had to have it. I installed myself in about three hours. Heavy glass be careful
We've had the shower enclosure up for about a year now. The end result is a beautiful, clear glass shower that shows off the the tile behind. The opening and closing of the shower is smooth, quiet and awesome. Be warned: The instructions are complicated but complete. Be sure you have a buddy, and follow the exact instructions. Level, level, and level again. Do each step in the order presented, even if it seems like it can be done later (like the caulking). It will take a day or two to do this yourself. My handyman and I put this up and our biggest struggles were when we deviated from the instructions.
Definitely a two person job but this was our second shower dope to install and it went relatively smoothly. Required more adjustments that the straight panel door we installed in the master but that's to be expected. Shower seemed really small until we got the doors up and, don't get me wrong it's a small shower, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I do with is gone the next size up though. It looks great and functions well so I'm pleased.
