I just opened the base. It looks quality for an acrylic product. It's just too cramped for me and I am not even a big guy. I'm not claustrophobic either. It must be the rounded side that makes it really feeling cramped. Keep in mind that the measurement quoted is the base. The actual shower enclosure is 2" less in either dimension. For a 33" x 33" base, the glass panels are 31" x 31". Take into consideration the space gone as the glass panels curve into a quarter round, losing that corner space, if it were a square.
When my husband suggested that we install and shower shaving foot shelf a light bulb went off in my head. I thought yeah! It is so useful. If you have ever tried to shave your legs in the shower without this ledge you know how difficult it is to do. The install was easy, only complaint is that it does not come with the tiling mastik as does the shower pan, but lucky for us we had enough for both!
Pan gets 5 stars, enclosure wall kit gets 2 stars, shower doors with frame gets 3 stars. Pan is heavy duty, about as good as one could find. Wall surround is 21/2 mm thick, a significant challenge in an older home with walls and studs likely to be out of plumb. The sliding glass door kit includes a nice frame but also includes shortcomings which in my case required modifications to the assembly and installation instructions. Because I did not recognize some of the shortcomings early enough I expect to remove and reinstall the shower doors within two years. This is an advanced project especially so in an older home.
