I love appearance of the door. The hardware is more brassy than bronze though. the seal between the door and marble has torn starting at the top. I have called and emailed twice trying to get a replacement. Absolutely no response.
We purchased this door instead of going with a custom glass cut & install. Even with having our contractor install the door it still came out a LOT less expensive. The look is modern and very cutting edge. The doors glide effortlessly and quiet along the top rollers. This was the best purchase we could have made for our renovated master bath.
I've always wanted frameless shower doors. I had remodeled several baths in a few of my houses and had planned on putting in frameless hinged doors in all of them. I had two issues weighing on my mind: Very high price, and which way to swing the door (in/out, left/right)? Also hinged doors would have to be professionally measured and installed at a tune of over $2000 each (I need five sets). Then I saw these doors! The design is great, and it also solves the swinging door problem... it slides! No swing! It has beautiful hardware top rail that operates quietly and smoothly. Super easy to install and beautiful. Less than half the price of the doors I had planned to buy! I bought one for one house for a test run. Loved it. Bought one and installed in another house... came out great. Definitely glad to replace the curtains! Bought another for another house and will buy two more for a condo I'm remodeling. It's my shower door of choice; Worth every penny!
After tirelessly looking for the right tub shower door to cap off my bath remodel, I purchased the Aston 60 inch stainless steel tub door. This is a top of the line quality door and is very elegant. The instructions suggested using a professional to install, but I was able to perform this task on my own, the instructions were pretty simple to follow along even though the glass was quite heavy, I just took my life and wore gloves that were sticky to prevent the glass from sliding when I lifted it to set on the tub. Even though the door doesn't allow for out plumb adjustment, I was able to overcome that by slightly raising the rail but also keeping it within levelness to not seem noticeable. Since my walls were ceramic tile I used a 5/16 diamond tile blade and for drilling into my tub, which was porcelain, I used titanium drill bits to make my pilot holes before stepping up to a larger titanium bit. If your a DIY you can install this door and you will be happy with the final result.
